RICHLAND, Wash. – Cool Desert Nights, an annual event showcasing classic cars in Richland, is returning for the 30th time on Fri., June 21 and Sat., June 22.
The Richland Chamber of Commerce says the car cruise starts at 6 p.m. on Friday. Watchers can find a spot on George Washington Way between Knight Street and Symons Street and enjoy the classic cars.
Immediately following the car cruise at 7 p.m. is the Party in the Park at John Dam Plaza. Local artist Fastlane will performing two hours of music from the Eagles.
The next day at 7 a.m., Richland Kiwanis is serving pancakes at Jefferson Park until 11 a.m. At 9 a.m., more classic cars will be presented at the nearby Show N Shine at the Uptown Shopping Center, with an awards ceremony at 3 p.m.
