RICHLAND, Wash.–A convicted felon allegedly pulled out a firearm inside of an Uptown Plaza bar and threatened the customers just before closing time this morning.
One customer fled the scene before a man and his two adult sons confronted the suspect, according to a Richland Police Department Facebook post.
The suspect allegedly pointed the firearm and the three men before leaving, according to the post. The family followed him into an alley before disarming and detaining him until officers arrived at the scene.
After an investigation, officers found a fanny pack in the suspect’s possession, containing cash and drugs such as methamphetamine and fentanyl, according to the post.
He has been booked into jail for Assault in the Second Degree, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver, according to the post.
