SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash.-Drivers should expect lane closures and delays on I-90 throughout the week of May 13-17.
Department of Transportation construction crews will be working on several areas along the I-90 corridor between North Bend and Vantage.
Construction areas:
North Bend: Lane closures on westbound I-90 will be in place 24-hours a day between mileposts 39 and 40 to stabilize rock slopes. Two eastbound and westbound lanes will also be closed in a four-lane section between mileposts 34 and 55 for bridge deck repairs.Easton: While no work is currently scheduled for the area, WADOT encourages drivers to check for rock blasting notices.Cle Elum: Westbound traffic will be rerouted across a temporary bridge between milepost 83 and 84 for repairs to the westbound bridge deck.Vantage Bridge: Single lane closures will be in effect in both east and westbound lanes for bridge deck work. Cars and trucks wider than 10 feet and all oversize loads will be prohibited.
