RICHLAND, Wash. – The first phase of construction for the West Village Community Park is set to begin, with phase one set to be completed by the end of 2024.
The West Village Community Park will be placed in the Badger Mountain South neighborhood adjacent to the Station 76 project.
Phase one includes parking, landscaping, play areas, a bathroom and space for a playground which will come in phase two.
The City of Richland received feedback on the proposed park from the community in late 2021 through two in-person meetings, a Zoom meeting and an online survey that reached 306 responses.
