PASCO, Wash.-Construction of a new roundabout will impact traffic on Road 68 and West Court Street for the next two and a half months.
Road 68 at the north end of the intersection with West Court will be closed during construction of the roundabout, which is scheduled to start on Monday, July 8 and last until mid-September, according to the City of Pasco.
Access from Road 68 south of Court Street will remain open and access to businesses in the area will be maintained, however, drivers in the area should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes whenever possible.
According to a Pasco press release on the construction, the new roundabout will reduce the chance of high-speed crashes in the area and will improve traffic flow.
Pasco plans to provide updates throughout the construction process on the city website and social media platforms.
