A company have created an incredible vessel for the ultra-wealthy they call a submersible superyacht.

The 165-meter Migaloo M5 is designed to go underwater but can also fulfill superyacht duties above the waves.

Austrian company Migaloo says the vehicle can dive 250 meters and stay submerged for four weeks.

The firm says they design vessels bespoke for their wealthy clients which would affect cost.

Christian Gumpold, Migaloo CEO, says: “There is no estimated cost as every project is fully custom designed according to the owner’s wishes and preferences.

“As superyachts project sums are typical several hundred millions of euros, a private submersible superyacht would definitely be within this price range.”

The M5 has room for 20 passengers, served by 40 crew, who can enjoy luxury touches including a spa area, a large beach terrace, a jacuzzi and swimming pools.

Transport options and fun tender options see room for a helicopter, two mini-submarines, SUVs, drones and even a hot air balloon.

There are no confirmed plans for production of the M5, but Christian Gumpold told The Times: “We are currently in negotiations with a number of interested parties from all over the world”.
