Community supports slain teacher, mother at HUB in Kennewick

KENNEWICK, Wash.-The community is coming together to support the family of Amber Rodriguez after the murder of the paraeducator and mother on April 22 at William Wiley Elementary.

Summer’s Hub of Kennewick will host an event from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on May 3 to support Rodriguez’s family.

All beer sales and silent auction proceeds, as well as 10 percent of all Brady’s sales and a percentage from participating food trucks, will be donated directly to Rodriguez’s family for the needs of her children and for burial expenses, according to the Hub.

Summer’s Hub is located at 6481 W. Skagit Avenue in Kennewick.
