KENNEWICK, Wash. — The Kennewick Police Department closed Columbia Park Trail between North Edison Street and North Columbia Center Boulevard Monday morning for a brush fire.
The smoke was reportedly seen by drivers on Highway 240. The Kennewick Fire Department said the fire burned about 3 acres of brush. They are still investigating the cause.
Fire crews ask residents to avoid the area until further notice.
