KENNEWICK, Wash. – Columbia Ability Alliance (CAA), a Tri-Cities non-profit that provides specialized employment services to those with disabilities, is expanding its services to support Walla Walla County residents.

CAA will now offer Individual Employment opportunities through the Developmental Disabilities Administration to help find long-term jobs at or above Washington’s minimum wage.

To take on several expected cases, CAA hired Employment Specialist Kimberly Davis. Davis says she is excited to apply her experience in workforce support in Walla Walla.

And for CAA President and CEO Michael Novakovich, this expansion is personal.

“We are thrilled to partner with Walla Walla County to offer employment services to individuals with disabilities whose unique abilities help build better workplaces and communities,” said Novakovich. “As a native Walla Wallan, our expansion into my hometown to enrich and empower the lives of deserving individuals is personally meaningful.”

Walla Walla businesses can benefit from working with CAA by hiring motivated workers with disabilities.

“Our team is dedicated to empowering clients by building pathways to employment that offer dignity, growth and independence,” said CAA Divisional Manager of Employment Services David Haldeman. “We’re excited to offer these vital services in Walla Walla and to have Kimberly join us as a passionate advocate.”
