KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash.-One driver was hospitalized after a car versus semi crash east of Cle Elum on Feb. 28.
Washington State Patrol Troopers responded to the scene of the crash on SR 970 near milepost 7, about five miles east of Cle Elum around 7:38 a.m.
According to the WSP, a car driven by a 36-year-old College Place woman was driving east when it crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a semi truck driven by a 47-year-old Puyallup man.
The woman was transported to Harborview Medical Center for her injuries and may face charges pending the outcome of an investigation into the cause of the crash, according to the WSP.
Although the semi truck was totaled, the driver was uninjured in the crash.
