Netflix revealed a trailer for the new season (embedded above) showing Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen training for an epic showdown. In it, the students are finally all “on the same page” and are now “getting ready for whatever the world throws” at them. The main question is whether they’ll compete in the Sekai Taikai, the world championships of karate. Daniel is concerned that his and Johnny’s teaching methods are beginning to conflict, and the pressure is on as everyone tries to be the best they can be.

“Our strength is that we teach both styles equally. Don’t jeopardize that balance, man,” Daniel warns in the trailer, later adding that “we have no idea what we’re up against.” The stakes have certainly been raised for this group of fighters.
