YAKIMA, Wash. – Yakima artists are invited to submit their work to be considered for a new project by the City of Yakima Arts Commission to ‘Keep Yakima Beautiful.‘
The project, both titled and themed as ‘Keep Yakima Beautiful,’ has artists submitting their work to redesign garbage receptacles.
Art submissions must be related to the environment and natural beauty in a way that represents the Yakima Valley, including landscapes, flora, fauna and more.
Painting, drawings, digital art and more are accepted but they must be submitted digitally.
The deadline for the project is Nov. 8. Selected artists will receive a $250 stipend.
