KENNEWICK, Wash.–Some City of Kennewick residents have received a text message asking them to complete a survey for Dynata to collect information.
The company is not affiliated with the city, according to a City of Kennewick Government Facebook post. The city will notify residents through official channels if a survey is being conducted.
Residents are advised to be cautious when filling out surveys or providing personal details online, the post said.
