KENNEWICK, Wash.–When Kennewick Police Department Officers were conducting field contacts on New Year’s Eve, one became stuck.
The officer parked along a canal and, because of the mud, got stuck, according to a KPD Facebook post. One citizen was able to assist the officer and get the patrol car out of the mud and canal.
The citizen received a Positive Policing Community gift card as a way to show the department’s thanks for the help, according to the post.
