YAKIMA, Wash. – Outdoor enthusiasts are invited to the 33rd annual Central Washington Sportsmen Show, which kicks off Fri., Feb. 23 and will run through the weekend at the Yakima Valley SunDome.
Attendees can check out several exhibits, displays and presentations throughout the weekend. The SunDome will hold everything outdoors including hunting and fishing gear, camp trailers, ATVs and more.
At the 2024 show, a 30-foot 5,000-gallon fishing demonstration tank will be available for attendees to see how fish react to different lures and flies.
The BowSim 4-D Archery Simulator from Pac Bow also makes its debut at the show and will allow shooters to use their own bows and arrows to shoot at various digital targets.
Volunteers from the Kamiakin and Mt. Cleman’s archery clubs will be in attendance to show newcomers how to use a bow.
The Horn and Antler Competition also makes a return at the show. At the competition, hunting trophies are scored and displayed for all to see with prizes from Cabela’s available for winners.
Other notable events include the Casting Pool for fly casting demonstrations, the Seminar Room and a wide variety of activities for kids to participate in.
General admission which is good for all three days is $15 for adults and $10 for children. Children under six get in for free.
Seniors 60 and older get in for $10 and first responders for $12 on Friday. All kids are admitted for $8 on Sunday for Kids’ Day and all military members get $2 off all weekend with military ID.

Friday: Noon to 7 p.m.Saturday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.Sunday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Parking is free at the event. On Friday and Saturday, the first 100 adults will receive a goody bag from Cabela’s.
