BENTON COUNTY, Wash.-Three people were hospitalized after a crash involving a car, a semi and a school bus on Plymouth Rd. on the morning of October 18.
Washington State Patrol Troopers responded to the crash on E14 Plymouth Rd. near milepost 180 around 6:53 a.m.
A semi headed south on Plymouth Rd. was stopped at the Stop sign on SR 14 about eight miles east of Kennewick when the driver failed to yield the right-of-way according to the WSP.
The semi hit a Ford Focus travelling westbound on SR 14, which then hit a school bus that was driving northbound on Plymouth Rd.
The two people in the Focus, a 51-year-old man and a 39-year-old female, both from Kennewick, were transported to Trios Hospital after the crash. The bus driver, a 30-year-old Patterson woman, was also taken to the hospital.
According to the WSP, the driver of the semi, a 50-year-old Yakima man, was uninjured in the crash and may be facing charges for failure to yield.
