KENNEWICK, Wash.- Kennewick Fire Department responded to a car fire at the Circle K gas station on US 395 just south of West 27th Ave., prompting a brief lane closure.
According to Acting Battalion Chief Scott McLellan, officials closed a single lane of southbound US 395, allowing traffic to use the inside lane for about 15 minutes.
McLellan says the fire was not close enough to the fuel pumps to create any danger to the public.
Crews will remain on scene to clear the area.
