RICHLAND, Wash.-Ready to lace up your running shoes for a good cause? The 2024 Cancer Crushing Challenge 5K and 10K is set for May 11 in Howard Amon Park.
The road-to-river run/walk sponsored by Washington River Protection Solutions and benefitting the Tri-Cities Cancer Center starts at 8 a.m. and follows George Washington Way to the river path in Howard Amon Park.
Those who pre-register by April 30 receive a T-shirt to decorate in honor of a loved one’s cancer journey. Registration is $35 for adults and $25 for students.
Pancakes and mimosas will be available for participants after the race.
