KITTITAS, Wash.- Just a quick ten minute drive from Ellensburg Washington, Kittitas Cafe serves craft coffee, breakfast, baked goods and lunch.
Owner of Kittitas Cafe, Mackenzie Cohen, said she was inspired to open a cafe from her previous experience in the industry. Cohen learned how to make coffee during her time in Australia and worked at longtime Ellensburg dive bar, The Tav.
“I wanted to make a place that people from all walks of life would feel comfortable walking in the door,” said Cohen.
Kittitas Cafe is known for their seasonal options, providing new food and drink specials for their customers.
“We make a lot of sauces in house,” said Cohen. “My favorite is our peppermint bark sauce, I look forward to it every year.”
