PASCO, Wash. – A bull elk was spotted in Pasco on Sunday, prompting the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Police to come by and relocate it.

WDFW says the elk was found in a Goodwill parking lot at around 8 a.m. It was later reported that it fled to a nearby vineyard near a highway.

Due to the elk being so close to the highway, officers decided to immobilize it and take it away. Its antlers were also removed to prevent injury.

The elk was safely relocated to a wildlife refuge, per WDFW.
