PASCO, Wash.-The 2024 Food Drive for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties kicked off on Nov. 19.
The build-a-box food drive is focused on providing kid-friendly food items to help students get through winter break.
Friends, families, coworkers, businesses and community members are invited to fill boxes with a list of items and drop them off at the Pasco Parks and Recreation office at 525 N. 3rd Avenue by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Items that should be included in each box:
6 cup of noodles6 ramen noodles4 mac and cheese4 canned pasta 12 ounces of peanut butter12 ounces of jam or jelly8 juice boxes or pouches12 ounces of crackers, goldfish or teddy grahams12 ounces of applesauce or 6 fruit cups8 or 12 pack of granola bars
