BOZEMAN, Mont. – Bozeman Fire Fighters IAFF L613 took to Facebook to warn area drivers of multiple events in the Bozeman area occurring Monday, May 20, that will affect traffic patterns.

First off, the Montana Department of Transportation is assisting the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office in dedicating the Jacob Allmendinger Memorial Highway from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Bridger Canyon Drive, according to the Facebook post.

This dedication is from the intersection with Fairy Lake Road to the intersection with Brackett Creek Road on Bridger Canyon Drive (MT 86). Since there is limited space on this route, drivers can expect a 35 mph work zone, alternating single-lane traffic, and possible delays of up to 20 minutes.

Additionally, Rouse Avenue will be closed at mile marker 1.0 for around two to four hours, starting at approximately 1:00 PM. This closure will give BNSF time to replace a broken rail on the train track. Travelers should use a different route during this time.
