ISRAEL.-The Israeli military recovered the bodies of six hostages who were taken during the attack by Hamas on Oct. 7.
The Israeli Defense Forces say the hostages were found overnight during an operation in Khan Younis.
According to NBC News reporting, the remains of Haim Perry, 80; Yoram Metzger, 80; Avraham Munder, 79; Alexander Dancyg, 76; Nadav Popplewell, 51; and Yagev Buchshtav, 35, were found.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken was in the region this week as the United Staes, Qatar and Egypt continue to push for a cease fire in the war between Israel and Hamas.
According to NBC News, 105 hostages have yet to be returned or found.
