KENNEWICK, Wash.- The Benton Franklin Health District has released safety tips to have a Spooktacular and safe Halloween.
Wear bright colors to make yourself more visible at night, you can even incorporate glowsticks into your costume to stay visible. Check treats before snacking. Make sure you check for signs of tampering and never eat candy that has clearly been opened.Keep track of your friends. Be sure to stay with your group. Watch out for cars. Be sure you pay attention when walking along streets and watch for cars. Don’t go out alone.Use glowsticks or LED candles instead of real candles to prevent fires.
