BENTON COUNTY, Wash. – A total of 183 local candidates filed to run for local office in Benton County after a five day filing period, according to Auditor Brenda Chilton.
Of the 183 candidates, six filed for County Offices while the other 177 filed for Precinct Committee Officers.
Candidates will soon discover the order that they will appear on the primary ballot. The official lot drawing is set for Tue., May 14 at 9:30 a.m. at the Benton County Voting Center, located at 2618 N. Columbia Center Blvd.
The complete list of candidates and the lot drawing results will be found online on the Benton County website.
