BENTON COUNTY, Wash.- Benton County prosecutors office has confirmed that Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Brad Barlett, his wife and two children died in a car crash on the 4 of July. Their 2-year-old son was the only person to survive the fatal crash.
Four family members died in a car versus truck crash at the intersection of S. Travis Road and E. Sellards Road.
Two others were hospitalized after the crash around 6 p.m., including a two-year-old member of the family who was life-flighted to the hospital.
The driver of the truck was also hospitalized after the crash.
According to Benton County Chief Deputy Coroner Dennis Morris, The four people who died included a 9-year-old, a three-week-old baby and their parents.
The office asks the public to respect the family’s privacy.
