BENTON COUNTY, Wash.- Benton County Fire District 1 firefighters fully stopped the progression of a wildfire which started in the area of state Route 397 and Owens Road in Benton County.
Owens Road is still closed and officials are asking drivers and drones to stay out of the area.
BCFD 1 originally reported the brush-heavy fire to be around 3-5 acres and officials requested a wildland strike team.
