BENTON CITY, Wash. – Benton City Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 20th Annual Winterfest Celebration on Saturday, December 9.
The celebration begins with a Sweaty Sweater 5k, starting at 10 a.m. followed by Sweaty Sweater Party at the Palm Bar and Grill. Those with the ugliest sweaters can participate in the ugly sweater contest for a chance to win prizes.
The Benton City Winterfest Bazaar will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. located at the Kiona-Benton City High School at 1205 Horne Drive. According to Benton City Chamber of Commerce, over 60 unique vendors will be in attendance along with a raffle fundraiser, games, food and entertainment. This event will have free admission.
After dark, the Benton City Annual Lighted Parade will begin at 5 p.m. starting at the Kiona-Benton City Middle School on Grace Avenue and ending at the corner of Babs Avenue and 9th Street.
To end the night, head over to City Park for the annual tree lighting ceremony and caroling at 6 p.m.
