KENNEWICK, Wash.- Internationally recognized award-winning pianist and Richland native Jim-Issac Chua will perform at Grace Clinic’s Benefit concert at the Three Rivers Convention Center on Saturday, September 21, at 6 p.m.

Proceeds from the benefit concert will go toward funding the Grace Clinic, Tri-Cities’ only medical clinic that provides medical, dental, and mental health services free of charge to the uninsured.

Jim-Issac Chua grew up in Richland after immigrating from the Philippines as a child. He began piano lessons at eight years old.

By the time Chua was in High School, he had performed at Carnegie Hall. He studied music at a handful of prestigious music schools in the United States, Europe, and British Columbia.

The benefit concert will be the first stop on Chua’s 2024-2025 world tour.

“What better way to celebrate the generosity of Grace Clinic than through music, which, like medicine, brings people together and heals, supports, and delights people no matter the background,” said Chua.

According to event organizers, an optional cocktail hour will begin at 5 p.m. and will be followed by Chua’s solo piano concert at 6 p.m.
