An astronaut has been wowing space watchers with jaw-dropping pictures taken from the International Space Station this month.
NASA’s Matthew Dominick has garnered thousands of fans online thanks to his incredible photography.
The Colorado-native has captured vibrant aurora forming the backdrop to supply craft attached to the ISS.
On Monday (12 Aug) he posted an image he described as showing the Moon as it “makes it way towards the horizon to set amongst red and green aurora”.
Another picture, shared on 2 August, sees the Soyuz spacecraft set against a bright green aurora background.
