SUNNYSIDE, Wash.-Applications for the Highly Capable program are now open for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade in the Sunnyside School District.
The referral window will be open from November 6 through December 13, 2023 and parents that would like their students to be tested and considered for this program should contact their child’s school to pick up a referral packet, or visit the Sunnyside School District website under Programs.
Highly capable students are students who perform or show potential for performing at significantly advanced academic levels when compared with others of their age, experiences, or environments, according to the Sunnyside school district.
After their referral students will be screened and possibly tested during the weeks of January 16, 2024 through February 1, 2024.
