A group of ants banded together to carry a large insect up a step.
Fascinating footage filmed on May 26 in Dalian, China, shows at least eight ants joining forces to carry what appears to be a cricket up a step.
The determined ants can be seen pulling the large, dead insect up along the riser but each time they fail at the very end and drop the insect back down.
After four failed attempts, they eventually managed and reach the top on their fifth attempt.
