All Our Relations Snake River Campaign to stop at Sacajawea Park

PASCO, Wash.-A two-week indigenous-led campaign to support treaty rights, salmon and First Nations Salmon People throughout the Pacific Northwest is stopping in Pasco.

The 2023 All Our Relations Snake River Campaign will be at Sacajawea Historical State Park located at 2503 Sacajawea Park Rd in Pasco, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26.

The Snake River Campaign is an opportunity to support treaty rights in the Columbia River basin and the health of the Salish Sea bio-region by advocating for the removal of dams on the Lower Snake River according to a press release on the event.

The public is invited to the event that will feature Seven Drum, a blessing, presentations, lunch and the blessing of a sculpture. A Washington Discover Pass (annual or daily) is needed for parking at Sacajawea Park.

According to All Our Relations the sculpture is assembled and disassembled at each site of the campaign.

Giving Voice/KHIMSTONIK, a nonprofit that works to weave historical presence, decolonization and influence between Tribes, communities and local and federal agencies is sponsoring the event at Sacajawea.

The All Our Relations Campaign has also made stops in Olympia and Portland. After stopping in Pasco, the campaign will be in Spokane on September 29 and Lewiston on September 29 and 30, before concluding in Seattle on October 1.
