FINLEY, Wash.-The air quality around the site of the Lineage Logistics warehouse fire in Finley is currently unhealthy.
According to the Benton County Fire District #1, as of 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28, the air quality in the area is considered unhealthy.
Nearby residents are advised to replace the HVAC filters in their homes more often than normal and follow the Department of Ecology guidelines for areas experiencing unhealthy air.
A town hall on the fire, that started on April 21, and its aftermath is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29 at River View High School for nearby residents and concerned citizens.
Demolition and cleanup efforts are now underway at the still smoldering Lineage warehouse fire and are expected to take up to two months.
