Air quality currently “good” to “moderate” in Benton County despite wildfires

BENTON COUNTY, Wash.-Benton County is under an Air Quality alert due to wildfires burning around the region.

Air quality levels may reach “unhealthy” or “unhealthy for sensitive groups,” according to a social media post from Benton County.

The air around the Tri-Cities is currently “good” to “moderate,” according to the Washington Air Quality Map from the Department of Ecology.

Air quality can change throughout the day based on fire activity and weather conditions. Residents are advised to stay up-to-date with current air quality levels in their area with the Air Quality map.
