Three black and white kittens named after the Addams Family are looking for a new home in time for Halloween after being found dumped outside a rescue center.

Gomez, Morticia and Wednesday were discovered abandoned in a cat carrier outside a Blue Cross animal center in Wherstead, Suffolk.

The three-month-old kittens are now in the care of one of the charity’s foster homes where they are said to be gaining in confidence and are now ready to be rehomed.

The team at Blue Cross are looking for the kittens to be rehomed together, either in a pair or individually.

The charity say they could live with children that are able to give them the time and space they need to settle in at their new home.

Marisa Maidment, adoptions coordinator at Blue Cross in Suffolk, said: “Black cats have long been associated with witches and mythical beings and like the Addams Family, seen as a bit mysterious and spooky.

“Many people still associate them with superstition, but the only purranormal powers this adorable trio possesses are ones of unconditional love and affection.

“Just like the Addams Family they each have a definite character, and we hope they will bring a touch of magic into their new homes.

“We’re currently taking applications for the kittens and will be working to quickly match them to their forever homes so we’re hoping they’ll be heading off soon.”

The charity is also on the lookout for more animal lovers to join their team of volunteer foster carers.
