TOPPENISH, Wash.-Actor Adam Beach will visit Heritage University on Nov. 22 for a presentation in Smith Family Hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Beach, a member of the Saulteaux (Plains Ojibwe) nation will share stories of growing up on the Dog Creek First Nations Reserve in Manitoba, including losing his parents as a child, according to a Heritage press release on the presentation.
Beach has appeared in over 60 films, including well-known roles in “Smoke Signals,” “Joe Dirt” and “Flags of Our Fathers.”
The presentation at Heritage is open to the public.
