KENNEWICK, Wash. – Tri-City Regional SWAT units are on the 2800 block of South Hartford Place attempting to arrest a suspect who is refusing to exit a home.
According to Sgt. Stephen Wolosin with KPD, this is an isolated incident and there is no active threat to the public. Residents in the area have been advised.
The suspect is under arrest for domestic violence charges, according to Wolosin.
According to a Facebook post from the Kennewick Police Department, the victim is safe but the male suspect is refusing to leave.
Roads in the area have been blocked off in response to the situation, avoid the area.
