BOZEMAN, Mont. – On Tuesday, Bozeman Fire responded to an incident involving an oversized semi load striking the East Main Bridge.
Upon arrival, crews discovered that the large overhead sign structure had been hit, leaving it hanging below the bridge height with severely damaged brackets.
Truck 2 from Bozeman Fire was called in to assist in safely and efficiently removing the damaged structure. The crew was able to utilize their elevated platform to restore normal traffic flow.
Police and other officials were on site. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
