YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. – UPDATE Sept. 26
Per East Valley Fire Chief Ray Lamoureux, the Kelly Lane Fire was fully contained and put out by midnight.
UPDATE 6:04 p.m.
Yakima Training Center Public Affairs Officer Paul Noel says the Kelly Lane Fire has burned about 4,000 acres.
YTC firefighters will monitor the fire overnight and reassess it in the morning.
UPDATE 5:35 p.m.
In an update from Chief Ray Lamoureux, the Kelly Lane Fire is 60 percent contained and crews are mopping up with some crews beings sent home.
There is no estimate on acreage at this time.

Yakima area firefighters are currently responding to a brush fire in the 200 block of Kelly Lane near the Terrace Heights area.
The Kelly Lane Fire has now grown to 1,500 acres with zero percent containment, according to Chief Ray Lamoureux with East Valley Fire.
According to AMR, there are currently no road closures or evacuations due to the fire.
