YAKIMA, Wash. – Yakima Transit is offering free shuttle bus service to and from the Central Washington State Fair through its 10 days, starting Sept. 20 and going until Sept. 29, per the City of Yakima.
Busses will head to the fair from the parking lot of the former Astria Regional Medical Center, located at 110 S. 9th Ave.
Service hours, from first departure from 110 S. 9th Ave. to last departure from the fairgrounds, include:
Sept. 20 & 21 – 11:15 a.m. to 11 p.m.Sept. 22 – 11:15 a.m. to 10 p.m.Sept. 23-26 – 1:15 p.m. to 10 p.m.Sept. 27 & 28 – 11:15 a.m. to 11 p.m.Sept. 29 – 11:15 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Along with the shuttles, all Yakima Transit bus routes and schedules will operate as usual. The #6 Fair Avenue/North Fourth Street route also goes to the fairgrounds every half hour from the Downtown Transit Center with the last bus leaving at 6:15 p.m.
