FINLEY, Wash.-Residents near the Finley Logistics Warehouse Fire are being asked to complete a survey on the health impacts of the fire.
The Benton-Franklin Health District mailed the survey, along with a letter and prepaid return envelope, to residents within a one-mile radius of the fire in Aug. and is asking for residents to return them by the end of the month.
The survey also includes information on Department of Commerce Emergency Response Grants and how residents may be eligible to apply for reimbursement for property damage or relocating families or animals.
According to the BFHD, data collected through the survey will determine how the department addresses the health needs of the community going forward after the fire.
The survey, which should only take about 15 minutes to complete, is focused on collecting information on how the fire affected the health of the entire household, according to the BFHD.
Finley residents are asked to complete the survey and mail it back or take it online in English or Spanish or over the phone by calling 509-460-4205.
Completed surveys may also be dropped off at the BFHD’s Kennewick office.
