TRI-CITIES, Wash.-Ongoing construction on the Blue Bridge is slowing traffic and causing backups in both directions.
Backups and delays are expected over the bridge between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. through Saturday, July 20, according to the Department of Transportation.
Single-lane closures, as well as speed reductions will be in place as painting of the bridge continues. Drivers are asked to use alternate routes if possible.
