TRI-CITIES, Wash.-Applications are now open for Gesa Credit Union’s Local Heroes grant program.
Applications for the grants that support firefighters, healthcare workers, law enforcement, educators and veterans are open until July 31 and can be completed online.
Grant funding helps cover the cost of equipment, training, and program support for local heroes and the organizations they work with.
A Local Heroes Grant guide is also available for download through Gesa.
Funding for the Local Heroes Grant comes from Gesa’s Affinity debit card program. Each time a member’s affinity card is used Gesa makes a donation to that card’s cause.
