RICHLAND, Wash.- Sunken Treasures Games is a new and used video game store. Owner, Sarah Churney, said she has found that people who were children of the 90’s find a lot of the older gaming systems nostalgic. She said a lot of her customers want to relive their childhood while also sharing these games with their children too.
“We had such an increase in original Nintendo sales that our selection right now is the smallest it has been since we opened 14 years ago,” said Churney.
Churney said that when she first opened Sunken Treasures, her customer base was mostly collectors. Now her demographic has expanded with more people interested in owning retro games.
Sunken Treasures Games is located in Uptown Richland Shopping Center behind Reborn Bike Shop.
