SELAH, Wash. – A Selah man was hospitalized after crashing his motorcycle into a truck on SR 823 on May 28.
Washington State Patrol Troopers responded to the crash at milepost 3 near the Selah city limits around 8:30 p.m.
According to the WSP, the 24-year-old motorcyclist was speeding on northbound SR 823 when he hit a Ford F-150 making a legal left turn in the southbound lane.
The driver of the truck, a 69-year-old Arkansas man, was uninjured in the crash.
The motorcyclist could face charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license and not having insurance or a motorcycle endorsement, according to WSP.
According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, SR 823 was temporarily closed at North Wenas Road due to a crash.
WSDOT says traffic was being detoured to local roads.
