BENTON COUNTY, Wash.-UPDATE. Power has been restored to all customers affected by an outage on Friday, Feb. 9 that affected 1, 426 customers.
According to the Benton PUD, the outage was the result of a technical issue inside the substation that is being evaluated.

Benton PUD is reporting a power outage in the area of 27th Ave. and Ely in Kennewick that is currently affecting 1, 426 customers.
According to the PUD, the outage occurred around 10:25 a.m. Utility crews are responding to the area and the PUD will continue to provide updates via its social media pages as the situation progresses.
The Benton PUD is asking anyone in the area that heard or saw anything to help crews identify the exact location or cause of the outage by calling 1-888-582-2176.
