Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms: Detects smoke and invisible, odorless carbon monoxide.Portable fire extinguishers: Perfect for use on small fires in the home or kitchen.LED flashlights: Be prepared for any power outages.A whistle: Can be blown to alert rescue personnel to your location in an emergency.Emergency weather radio/crank radio: Can be used if the power goes out to stay up-to-date on the latest weather conditions.First aid kits: Buy a prepackaged kit or assemble your own to keep in the car.Solar electronics charger: Make sure you can charge your cell phone and other electronics even if the power goes out.Emergency food/water kit: Pack meals with long shelf lives in your car and don’t forget the pets.Emergency roadside assistance car kit: Make sure you have the necessary supplies, including jumper cables, chains and food, clothing and supplies for tevyone in your car.Medications and medical supplies: Make sure you have a supply of all necessary medications for everyone in the family.
