KENNEWICK, Wash.-Four schools were locked down as Police responded to a SWAT incident on W. 4th Ave. on the morning of Dec. 4.
According to the Kennewick School District, Cascade Elementary, Washington Elementary, Horse Heaven Hills Middle School and Canyon View Elementary were placed into non-critical lockdowns and secure and teach methods were initiated.
The schools were placed into the non-critical lockdowns as precautionary measures due to “police activity” in the area, according to the district.
