TOUCHET, Wash. – A single car crashed on US 12 on Monday afternoon near Touchet according to Washington State Patrol Trooper Sarah Clasen.
Clasen says the crash happened around 6:45 p.m. at milepost 318 with a witness reporting a male driver who fell asleep at the wheel of a Ford Ranger. Clasen believes the car went off the road and rolled to a stop.
Before troopers arrived at the crash however, the driver had already left the area via another car.
Clasen says WSP does not know if the driver was under the influence. WSP is currently searching for the driver.
